Inspired by the Houston skyline, I present this image to the left!
I took this photo standing outside University of Houston Downtown on the third floor. After removing some color and tinting the image yellow, I removed the sky and replaced it with the perfect shade of yellow. Added some lovely text and some final touches and we're finished!
I'd love to travel some other cities and do this same project for their skylines. Dream big today, guys.
See you all again with some more art soon! As always, let me know what you want to see in future art pieces!

Fan Art - Blimey Cow
Calling all Blimey Cow Fans! Here is some fan art of Jordan for his new music video, "Separation is Natural". You should check out his new music video here! I really enjoyed listening to the new song because it was so relaxing and well written. After watching, I decided to make some fan art and this image was born!
Long story short, this started as a screen shot from his music video and ended up as this beautiful image. This was actually a really quick project, which surprised me. I guess when you feel inspired, you get things done! The look I was going for was a cutout vintage indie poster. The background began as a gradient from black to Jordan's shirt color. I added texture on top of the gradient to get the paper look and then layered in Jordan. After cleaning up the background from a screenshot of the music video, I was left with a rough cutout Jordan. A few lighting changes and cutout filters later, I got the Jordan you see in the image. For the words, I just selected Jordan and removed any letters on top of him.
If you'd like to make your own fan art or cutout vintage indie image, I'd love to see it! If you're confused about any of the details, just see the individual images of the layers below. Of course, in the final image, they're faded and have different settings but it'll give you a good idea of where to start.
Here are the individual pieces of the image: (minus some little details)
